A few years ago, when I was out of town, I took advantage of the public transit system, and after getting lost only once or twice, was finally able to figure out how to get around. The worse thing that I had happen was when someone fell asleep - on my shoulder. I think I would have been out of there if there was corn, or flossing involved!
